Physics, Statics and Zoology, Agriculture,

Number of Attempts : Ye bahut hi important
hai mention karne ke liye ki aapke paas
UPSC IFS exam ko apply karne ke liye aapke
paas unlimited attempts nahi honge. Jo
candidates general categories se belong
karte hai vo 6 attempts tak IFS exam ke liye
apply kar sakte hai. Schedules caste ke
category valo ke paas unlimited attempts
hote hai apply karne ke liye. Agar aap OBC
category se belong karte ho then aap 9
times aaply kar sakte ho.

UPSC IFS EXAM PATTERN &
SELECTION PROCEDURE 2016
Indian Forest Service Examiation ko two stages
me divide kiya hota hai i.e. preliminary and main
exam. Civil Services (preliminary) Examination
(objective type) candidates ki screening and
selection ke liye Indian forest Service (Main)
Examination held kiya jaata hai. Preliminary exam
ko paas karne ke baad aap Indian Forest Service
ke main Examination me pahunch jaate hai jo ki
written test or interview vala hota hai.
1. Preliminary Examination : Iss exam ke two
papers hote hai jo ki compulsory hote hai and
200 marks ke each paper hote hai. Paper karne
ke liye candidates ko 2 hours tak ka time diya
jaata hai or sath hi sath blind candidates ko
extra 20 minutes ka time diya jaata hai.
2. Main Examination : IFS exam ke liye isme
following papers held kiye jaate hai:
Paper I : General English -> 300 marks
Paper II : General Knowledge -> 300 marks
Paper III, IV, V & VI : Optional subjects ki list me
koi bhi two subjects select karne padte hai. Each
subject ke two papers hote hai. -> 200 marks
each.
Optional subject ka syllabus Bachelors Degree
and lowers than the Master Degree ke based par
hota hai.
3. Interview for Personality Test : 300 marks
OPTIONAL SUBJECTS FOR UPSC
IFS EXAM
Optional subjects ke liye number of eight
questions hote hai. Part A and Part B paper me
provide kiya jayega and each part me 4 questions
hote hai. Each part ka one questions compulsory
hota hai and eight questions me se five
questions attempt karne hote hai. Sare eight
questions equal marks ke hote hai.
